Welcome to Massena PAL 2026 Summer Camp!
We are so happy to have your family apart of our program! The “Massena PAL” app is our main form of mass communication, please download our app and turn your notifications on to receive updates and reminders! We also monitor messages to our Facebook page and update it regularly.
Summer Camp hours are 8:00AM-5:30PM. Please do not pick up your child any later than 5:30PM. Please note that some field trips require earlier drop-off times of 7:30 AM since we will depart at 8:00 AM.
Your child will be provided with a cubby where they can store personal items, we ask that you label, and provide your child with these items daily:
- Refillable water bottle
- Sneakers/ Closed toed shoes
- Bathing suit/ towel
- Change of Clothes (socks, underwear, bottoms, shirt, etc.)
- Sunscreen
Breakfast and lunch will be provided by Massena Central School District. Snacks will be provided daily. If your child prefers a lunch from home, they are more than welcome to bring a lunch.
No Devices At PAL:
We have a strict no device policy at PAL, even on field trip days. If your child needs to bring a device to PAL it must remain secured in their personal belongings while they’re at PAL. If your child needs to contact a parent, they can do so using the phone at the front desk.
Behavior Expectations:
To maintain a safe and positive environment, PAL has a zero-tolerance policy for physical or verbal aggression toward staff or fellow participants. If these behaviors occur and your child is unable to respect the boundaries of students or staff, they may be asked to take a break from PAL. Additionally, privileges such as field trips, beach days, and other special events may be revoked if your child's behavior requires significant staff intervention or supervision. If these behaviors continue despite intervention, suspension from summer camp may be necessary. Please review these expectations with your child to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Field Trip Information:
Parents will be required to fill out a form if their child is attending field trips. Please fill out the form at least one week prior to each trip. The form allows us to gather an accurate headcount for trip activities, and supplies. Unfortunately, if you do not fill out the form your child will not be able to attend.
