Intramural Sports Program

Building skills and friendships through sports.
Our intramural sports program brings together youth and law enforcement in a fun, competitive environment. Participants enjoy sports such as basketball, soccer, and flag football, with a focus on teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. This program is open to all skill levels. 

Key Features:

  • Age Groups: Grades 7-12
  • Law enforcement officers act as coaches and mentors.
  • Weekly games and seasonal tournaments.
  • No experience required – everyone plays!

PAL After-School Program

Safe, fun, and engaging after-school activities.
Our after-school program provides a safe, supervised environment for students after the school day ends. We offer homework help, arts & crafts, STEM activities, and sports. Law enforcement officers regularly visit to participate in activities, fostering stronger bonds between officers and the youth.

Key Features:

  • Open to grades 2-12.
  • Daily activities from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
  • Includes snacks and homework support.
  • Law enforcement guest visits.


Summer Enrichment Program

A summer of learning and fun!
Our Summer Enrichment Program provides a full schedule of activities including sports, art, STEM projects, and field trips. The program is designed to engage kids in positive, productive experiences while fostering closer relationships between them and local law enforcement.

Key Features:

  • Available for grades 2-12.
  • Runs June through August.
  • Outdoor activities, field trips, and themed weeks.
  • Law enforcement participation in events and activities.


LEGO Robotics

Hands on robotics and programming experience.
Our after-school LEGO robotics program gives kids a chance to get hands on experience with robotics, programming, coding, and teamwork. They can learn and foster problem-solving and communication skills that will help them in their future.

Key Features:

  • Available for grades 5-12.
  • Weekly meetings, Tuesday + Thursday, 4:00pm-5:00pm.
  • No experience needed.


Mentor Match Program

One-on-one guidance from trusted mentors.
The Mentor Match Program pairs youth with a dedicated police officer who provides guidance, support, and a positive role model. The program encourages building meaningful relationships, offering students a trusted advisor to help navigate life’s challenges.

Key Features:

  • Open to all students, grades 4-12.
  • Regular check-ins and activities with mentors.
  • Focus on personal development and goal-setting.


Youth Leadership Initiative

Empowering young leaders for tomorrow.
This initiative aims to develop leadership skills in junior high and high school students. Participants engage in community service projects, leadership workshops, and team-building activities while connecting with local police officers who serve as mentors.

  • Focus on leadership and community service.
  • Collaborate on real projects that benefit Massena.
  • Monthly meetings with law enforcement leaders.
  • Open to grades 7-12.


Junior Explorers Program

Discover the world of law enforcement.
This program is perfect for kids interested in law enforcement careers. Participants learn about different aspects of policing, including crime scene investigation, forensics, and traffic safety, through interactive workshops and field trips.

Key Features:

  • Open to grades 6-12.
  • Monthly workshops and hands-on experiences.
  • Opportunities to participate in ride-alongs and station visits.
  • Led by experienced officers.
